Wide range of samples made from natural materials to organic materials like resin molding products can be analyzed by using this combustion system and ion chromatography (not included here). Inorganic compounds such as iron and steel slag, cement etc. can also be used in this combustion system as high temperatures (up to 1400⁰ C) can be achieved. Sample combustion is carried out in the quartz combustion tube by introducing purified air. The Produced combustion gas will be captured and absorbed by the absorption unit (HSU-35) and collected in the form of a sampling liquid. The Collected sampling liquid is analyzed by using ion chromatography.
